Prayers and Music for Wednesday 29th July

In these unprecedented and uncertain times, it is easy for the feelings of fear and anxiety to guide our thoughts. Is it at times like these that we turn to our faith for spiritual strength.
​We hear in scripture:

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
Do not be afraid, for I am with you."

Taking time out from the news, the barrage of stories and information in our social media feeds is very important. Tonight, we will be hosting an online Holy Hour, we hope you will join us. We will spend some time in the presence of Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, a time of prayer, reflection and music.
