**Please note the change of venue for our Enniskillen evenings. They will now take place in the Chapel of the Mercy Convent, Belmore Street. Clogher don Óige will be hosting regular Taizé Prayer Evenings in Saint Joseph's Church, Monaghan and the Convent Chapel, Enniskillen. Upcoming dates:
A beautiful time of chanted music, prayer and silence. Rooted in the worship of the Taize Community in France. All are welcome. The Taizé Community is an ecumenical Christian monastic community in Taizé, Burgundy, France. It is composed of more than one hundred brothers, from Catholic and Protestant traditions, who come from about thirty countries across the world. It was founded in 1940 by Brother Roger Schütz. The community has become one of the world's most important sites of Christian pilgrimage focusing on youth. Over 100,000 young people make pilgrimages to Taizé each year for prayer, Bible study, sharing, and communal work. Through the community's ecumenical outlook, they are encouraged to live in the spirit of kindness, simplicity and reconciliation.
Clogher don Óige have been asked to celebrate Mass in the RTÉ Studios in Dublin on December 8th for live broadcast!! It is a great honour to have been asked and there is a huge amount of work involved, but we have no doubt that there are many young people out there who would like to be involved! Music for Mass ✅ Practice with RTÉ Production Team ✅ Would you like to be part of the congregation for Mass? Transport will be provided from central points in the diocese on the morning of Sunday December 8th. We have some spaces left... would you like to join us? *Due to the size of the studio where the Mass will be said, our numbers are limited. With that in mind we may not be able to facilitate all those who express an interest. If this is the case, people who express an interest will be randomly selected to fill the available spaces.
