This Lent, Clogher don Óige is organising a collection of goods to support the work of the Capuchin Day Centre in Dublin. Founded in 1969 by Capuchin friar, Brother Kevin Crowley, and inspired by the spirit of St Francis Assisi, the Centre was set up to ‘relieve the hardship endured by homeless people. The Day Centre has identified a number of items that they would like us to collect that they will be able distribute on a weekly basis, either through our food parcels or infant packs, to adults and families seeking support.
THE REQUIRED ITEMS ARE:
Many of our Pope John Paul II Award parish groups will be co-ordinating collection of these items locally. For information you can talk to JPII participants and leaders in your parish. Further information can be sought from Clogher don Óige via email [email protected] Collection of the items will end on FRIDAY 20th MARCH to allow delivery of items before Easter.
