The Chosen – Season 2: Young Adult Evenings with Clogher don Óige

Clogher don Óige is inviting young adults aged 18–35 to come together this autumn to continue the story of Jesus through Season 2 of The Chosen.

Following the life of Jesus through the eyes of those who knew and encountered him, The Chosen offers a fresh and engaging way of entering into the Gospel story and reflecting on the people, relationships and experiences that surrounded Jesus and his ministry.

Beginning on Thursday 10 September, the group will meet each Thursday evening at St Joseph’s Pastoral Centre, Monaghan, from 7.30pm–9.00pm, continuing until 5 November.

These evenings are about more than simply watching a television series. Each gathering will provide an opportunity to watch an episode together, reflect on its themes, share in conversation and discussion, and spend some time in prayer. Above all, it is an opportunity for young adults to meet others, build community and explore what the story and teaching of Jesus might have to say to our lives today.

You don’t need to have all the answers, and you don’t need to consider yourself an expert in faith. Whether faith is already an important part of your life, you are looking to reconnect, or you are simply curious and would like to explore, you will be very welcome.
